- Garmin has launched a new application called Comingup
- It can be used to register pending tasks, deadlines and more
- It runs at the bottom of your device, so it can have an impact on battery life
Garmin has launched a new application, Comingup, which functions as a list of pending tasks for some of the best Garmin watches. The application comes with a Qwerty keyboard for the entry of tasks, and can speak with several task management services, including Microsoft’s tasks, Google and Todoist tasks, to ensure that your tasks are synchronized in their connected services.
Garmin has always walked the line between being some of the best physical conditioning trackers and incorporating some of the common characteristics in the best smart watches. It seems that the company could be preparing for Tiptoe on that line.
Naturally, those additional data that execute regular synchronizations in the background can have an impact on the battery life, but given how robust are the Garmin watches in that regard, we have no important concerns.
How to get your Garmin (and what clocks can you get it)
You can find an appearance in the Connectiq store here, and it is worth noting that you will need your permission to run in the background, access your Garmin Connect profile and the ability to send and receive data.
Garmin says that he synchronizes in real time, so his lists will be updated instantly while working away from his desk. As someone who loves lunch training, but my head is always filling with ideas for my afternoon, that could be of great help.
Perhaps the best of all are the new reminders for tasks. Obtaining a timely reminder of your next task that can be helped to keep the target, and could be a great help.
As for compatibility, the complete list is in the previous application link and is very extensive. Most of Garmin’s most popular models can access the Appeared application, including Garmin Fenix 8, Garmin Fenix 7, Garmin Instinct 3, Garmin Venu 3 and the Garmin Forerunner range.
