The research on the death of Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa has revealed that the couple died seven days apart.
The authorities have revealed that both died from different causes, Betsy de Hantavirus, a virus similar to the flu linked to the cracking excrements, while Gene died due to a combination of severe heart disease, high blood pressure and Alzheimer’s advanced disease, New Mexico’s examining doctor, Heather Jarrell, confirmed to the press on Friday.
It is speculated that the 95 -year -old actor was possibly alone in the house with his dead wife, 65, for about a week.
“It is reasonable to conclude that Mrs. Hackman passed first,” said Jarrell.
Betsy’s last external communication was apparently by email on February 11, said Santa Fe Adan Mendoza Sheriff.
Meanwhile, the Genera’s pacemaker reported that the last activity was on February 17.
Jarell added that it is “reasonable to conclude” the Oscar -winning actor, who had no food in his stomach at the time of his death, died the next day. However, the researchers did not find signs of dehydration.
The Hackmans were found dead at their home in Santa Fe on February 26 in advanced decomposition states after a room service employee contacted a neighborhood security officer for any couple’s response. The officer called 911 when he saw the bodies through a window.
Gene was found in a house of mud of the house, while Betsy was found dead in a bathroom near a space heater and scattered pills. The couple had no children together and lived with their dogs.
One of his dogs, Zinna, was also found dead in a box inside a bathroom closet, just a few meters from Betsy. The cause of the death of the deceased dog still probes, while two other dogs were found healthy in the same residence.
No dirty game or carbon and gas monoxide signs were discovered.
Gene shared three children Christopher, 65, Elizabeth, 63, and Leslie, 58, with the ex -wife Faye Maltés.
