George Clooney believes that Adam Sandler is his closest friend and collaborators.
“I love him,” said Clooney PEOPLE magazine at the premiere of Jay Kellyin which he and Sandler star respectively as a film star and his manager.
The new movie, Jay KellyMark the first time the two actors will work together on the screen.
“He is the sweetest man in the world. He is a dear friend and the fact that I worked with him,” said Oscar’s winner.
“I have actually been making adam use costumes,” jokes Clooney, referring to the exclusive informal style of its co -star. “Don’t you think it looks better? Instead of those big baggy shorts?”
Jay Kelly (In theaters on November 14 and transmit in Netflix on December 5) it comes from the director and coguionist Noah Baumbach and writer Emily Mortimer.
The film also the co -star Laura Dern, Greta Gerwig, Billy Crudup and more and revolves around the starting film actor who is on a soul search trip throughout Europe, with Sandler as one of the many members of his team providing support.
“The cast,” Clooney Bouthed, is “incredible. Billy Crudup steals the entire show and is in a scene.”
With a dry smile, he joked: “I want to kill him.”
Previously, speaking with Vanity Fair, Clooney praised the dramatic skills that Sandler has, saying that Jay Kelly “Show the beautiful, sincere and moving actor that is … I kept telling the cast: ‘Don’t call him Sand Man. Do not talk to him as if he were a dumb comedian. He is actually a really beautiful and wonderful actor.'”
