“I am definitely excited to run better plays,” he said, through nfl.com.

Pickens had 59 trapped for 900 yards and three touchdowns under chief coach Mike Tomlin and the offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. He will play for the new coach in the cowboys, Brian Schottenheimer, and the offensive coordinator Klayton Adams. Schottenheimer served as an offensive coordinator for the cowboys last season with Mike McCarthy.

He also compared himself and Ceedee Lamb as the “Mario Bros.”

“Oh, yes, sure. Only different types of game styles,” Pickens added. “Many people over the years obtained different game styles, but Ceedee is a certain guy, so I am a certain guy. So, when they mix together, it’s like Mario Bros.

“We can definitely do something special.”

Lamb had 152 targets last season, 66 more than Jake Ferguson. Lamb’s role increased as Dak Prescott fell with an injury and Cooper Rush stayed to execute the offensive.

The offensive is expected to add a little, which could only be beneficial for the cowboys that advance.
