Georgia High School Hadden Kelly golfer, 17, dies after a sudden collapse

Hadden Kelly, a 17 -year -old high school golfer, died in Georgia on Monday after suddenly collapsing in a patio, confirmed the forensic of Dodge County, Joe Smith.

Smith told WGXA News that Kelly, his nephew Nieto, was participating in “welcome activities” in a residence with his friend when he collapsed in the courtyard. Kelly did not respond and then spoke dead on the scene.

Smith added that Kelly’s body was sent to an autopsy to determine his cause of death.

“Hadden was an outgoing child, and never met a stranger,” Smith told the station.

Kelly was an avid golfer who worked at the Dodge County Golf Club, and was a member of the Golf team of Dodge County High School. The school’s golf coach, Paula Selph, and the team shared a message after Kelly’s death on the school’s Facebook page.

“Hadden loved the golf and the golf team surely loves Hadden,” said the publication. “Hadden was the leader of our team, always encouraging and forever spoke positive words around him. He expected our golf team to continue to improve and desperately wanted after participating in the state tournament. He was our highest golfist and always ended before the majority of his teammates. Whenever the team always finished.

“What a witness of his character! We love Hadden and love his family! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Let’s take this example of disinterest in our own lives and gradually make the world a better place!

Smith also talked about Kelly’s love for the golf game.

“He played every day, and I think that if that were something he wanted to do, he would have become professional because he was so good.”
