Senate President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the leaders, workers and supporters of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on the occasion of its 58th Foundation Day, paying tribute to the Party’s historic role in upholding democracy and promoting people’s rights.
In a statement on Saturday, the Senate President asserted that the PPP, founded under the visionary leadership of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and strengthened by the enduring struggle and sacrifices of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, has always stood firm as a symbol of democratic resilience.
