GIVE Check the support mechanisms for expatriates


Islamabad:

The Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs (DPM/FM), Senator ISHAQ Dar, presided over a committee meeting for the next Pakistanis conference abroad scheduled for April.

The committee at its meeting discussed the improvement of services and support mechanisms for Pakistani abroad, with key stakeholders that discuss strategic initiatives to optimize commitment and facilitate their contributions to national progress, said the press release of the office of a DPM.

The Deputy Prime Minister ordered that the selected proposals should be completed, reaffirming Pakistan’s priority to reinforce economic, commercial and investment ties with friendly countries.

The DPM presided over the fourth Inter Ministerial Meeting, in proposals for investment projects with friendly countries.

During the meeting, the Committee reviewed reports on possible investments in key sectors, including infrastructure, oil, trade and information technology (IT), said the press release of the DPM office.

The DPM also reiterated Government’s unwavering approach to improving strategic associations and promoting intersectoral collaboration.

SAPM TARIQ BAJWA, Federal Secretaries of Foreign Affairs, Petroleum, IT and Economic Affairs, President NHA, Special Secretary Finance and Petroleum, and senior officials of SIFC, MOFA, Communications and other departments attended the meeting.
