The governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, on Tuesday he adopted a firm position against the notorious Dumper Mafia of Karachi, stating that if he is given authority over Karachi’s excavation for only one week and a single accident related to the Dumen occurs, he will resign from his position.

When heading to a public meeting in Hyderabad, Governor Kamran Tessori discussed several pressing issues and announced initiatives aimed at the development of the city.

He criticized the situation in Karachi, saying: “The public has been deceived, and now these Dumpers are crushing our own children.”

Tessori also said that if the mayor of Karachi was placed under his supervision, the old roads of the city could be restored immediately.

The governor also suggested that Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) should completely fuse with the muttahida qaumi (MQM) movement to bring greater political stability in Sindh.

Reflecting on education in Hyderabad, he lamented the delay in completing the courses. “We tested here months, but five months have passed and the courses remain incomplete. If I reveal the real reason, all Hyderab will take to the streets,” he said, adding that he is exercising patience.

Tessori highlighted the social welfare activities carried out in the governor’s house in Karachi, including the daily dinners of IFTAR during Ramadan, where articles such as plots, motorcycles and tickets are distributed UMRAH. He also shared that more than 1 million ration bags and more than 12,000 laptops have been distributed so far, “without taking a single rupee.”

He thanked Hyderabad’s people for his warm welcome, calling his “historical” hospitality and added: “If the police ever hay it unnecessarily, only tell them that the governor is his brother, he will raise his respect.”
