EXCLUSIVE: More than $ 514,000 have been donated to “Help Karmelo Anthony Official Fund”, at the GaENDGO.com crowd allocation site.

This sum of half a million dollars is the result of an alleged murder that occurred at a track meeting in Frisco, Texas, April 2.

The victim was Austin Metcalf of 17 years of Memorial High School, who died in mortal stabbing. The suspect, Karmelo Anthony, 17, of Centennial High School, has just left the jail on bail after the lawyers reduced their bail of $ 1 million.

Anthony told the Police that he “did it”, that is, the murder, but said he was in self -defense. He has been accused of first degree murder.

Now, Givendgo leads the collection of online funds for the family legal expenses of Anthony. Other important lawyer platforms of the crowd, including Gofundme and Kickstarter, have not platform a campaign for Anthony in their sites.

But Gagoendgo’s co -founder, Jacob Wells, and his leadership team present the Anthony campaign.

“How proud I am this campaign? No, I wouldn’t say I’m proud at all,” Wells told Pak Gazette Digital in an exclusive interview.

“I am not proud that this is in Giveendgo. I simply appreciate what Giveendgo is doing in the midst of these tragic moments, which is in principle, which is a lover of people even in the midst of very hard and dark places.”

Wells admitted that there have been other campaigns in place, such as a host home for fund collectors for children. But Anthony’s fundonator is not one of those.

Wells said that his company has only eliminated campaigns for reasons considered “illegal” or raising money under false claims. He says he has withdrawn a fundraising to raise money for travel expenses, while the organizer intended to use the money to buy a weapon.

Wells refused to say directly if there was any conversation about the elimination of the campaign, but insists that “practically” all those involved in leadership in the company have supported the platform.

Wells compared the Anthony Fund with which its platform was organized for Kyle Rittenhouse in 2020. That effort raised more than $ 250,000 after Rittenhouse shot three men in Kíneshoa, Wisconsin, during Jacob Blake’s disturbances.

But now Anthony has raised more than double that number, and is looking for more. As Wells and his colleagues have faced the violent reaction and death threats, he said he has had a conversation about the donation of fundraising to the Metcalf family to try to point out that they are not only platforms of the Anthony fund to obtain financial profits.

Wells has also paid special attention to this campaign in recent weeks, since it has been one of the greatest and notorious that its platform has hosted. He has done everything possible to take note of the types of people who are donating and why they are donating.

And for him, some of these people are donating for the “wrong reasons.”

“There will always be people who are donating for the wrong reasons, in any campaign. There are people who believe that the best way to follow is racial division. That is what they believe. Then they will envive the flames of the racial division as they can,” Wells said. “When you live in free societies, what we do, there is a price to pay, and that is that some people do things that may not be good. And I think people do it all the time.”

Wells specifically pointed to “defending a racial narrative” as the wrong reason to want to donate to the campaign, when asked.

“When someone defends a racial narrative that is divisive and not unifying, he claimed that this is a wrong reason to be donating. And there are people who have donated that they are making divisive and not unified statements. And those are in some of the comments.” Unfortunately, in free societies, people can say things that are divided and do not unify, “Wells said.

“They also go both ways. We have seen people who have made donations because donating is a way of commenting on the campaign page … You have people who are on the other side of the hall and donate the minimum donation of $ 5 so that they can publish a comment that is derogatory to the Anthony family.”

Even so, Wells states that the “overwhelming majority” of commitment in fundraising has not been “derogatory.”

Wells refused to point out any specific comments that represent the “incorrect” reasons. However, some public comments reviewed by Pak Gazette Digital reflect the “racial narrative” reference of Wells.

“Honestly, even if Karmelo stabbed Austin without any reason, he would still donate and support. White has come out with his killing us for hundreds of years. I couldn’t care less the white lives,” he read a comment with 53 likes.

Wells blamed the “right -wing indignation” for conducting support to the fund collector.

“The indignation of the right has fed the response on the other side,” said Wells, added that he saw similar patterns due to left -wing response to the Rittenhouse background and when his site organized a campaign to support Daniel Penny after killing Jordan Neely Neely in defense of the subway riders of New York City in 2023.

The representatives of the Anthony family have referred to the race by comparing Anthony’s situation with that of Rittenhouse and Penny.

The president of Next Generation Action Network (Ngan), Dominique Alexander, compared to a press conference on April 17.

“Because these racist fans try to prevent our baby from defending our son, Kyle Rittenhouse, Daniel Penny, and all the people who have affirmed whatever their defense, should receive the same right,” said Alexander.

Anthony was recently transferred from his home to an “unveiled location to guarantee his immediate safety” after an “alarming increase in death threats, continuous harassment and physical intimidation aimed at the family’s house,” Ngan said in a statement last week.

Meanwhile, the Metcalf family has been victims of the coup in recent weeks, previously confirmed the Frisco Police Department (FPD). Swatting is when a 911 call is made, generally to inform a false violent crime, to obtain the police and, sometimes, even the SWAT teams, to respond to the address given by the person who calls.

Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, said previously Pak Gazette“I want to clarify something to start because I have already heard some rumors and gossip. This was not a career thing. This is not something political.

“Not politicians this. It is not … this is a human thing. This person made a bad choice and affected both his family and my family forever.”
