Globalx, an American airline involved in the deportation of illegal foreigners of the United States Trump administration to El Salvador, Venezuela and elsewhere, confirmed suffering a cyber attack earlier this month.
In a new 8-K form presented to the US stock and values commission. UU. (SEC), Global said that “he learned of the unauthorized activity within his networks and computer systems that support parts of their commercial applications,” on May 5, 2025. The company responded by activating its protocol for response to incidents and incorporating experts in cybers of third parties to help with containment and appearance. He also began investigating the nature and scope of the incident, and “took measures” to contain and isolate the affected servers. The police were also notified.
Globalx says that he is currently investigating the attack, but believes that none of its operations was interrupted or negatively affected. The company does not expect the incident to have a material effect, he concluded.
Anon strikes
Last week, 404 Media reported that Globalx was attacked by Hackivists Anonymous, who disfigured the company’s home page and allegedly stole confidential data. They left a message on the home page, saying that “they decided to enforce the judge’s order since you and your adhesive staff ignore the legal orders that go against their fascist plans.”
They referred to multiple judicial decisions that confirmed that some of those on flights should not have been deported to El Salvador, and ordered the Trump administration to bring those people back.
As for the stolen files, the media reported that Anonymous apparently took flight records and passenger manifests for all customers, including illegal immigrants. However, this was not confirmed.
The group shared the information with some media members by their own initiative, added 404 media, and also said that the information could be used to provide “granular information about who has been deported exactly on global flightsx, when and where.”
