Rising international prices pushed up domestic gold rates. The price per tola increased by PKR 5,500 to a record high of PKR 428,200, while the price per 10 gram increased by PKR 4,715 to PKR 367,112.
Silver also saw gains, with spot prices rising 2.2% to $51.37 an ounce, after reaching $51.70 an ounce, amid similar market dynamics and tight supply conditions.
The rise in precious metals reflects strong global demand and increasingly tight supply in the bullion market.
