John Daly has lived an interesting life both inside and outside the course.
Earl this week, ahead of The Galleri Classic, The twice older winner reflected on his long career when he was shown a photo of his 1992 rookie tour card.

“I didn’t think I had been here for three decades,” Daly said in a video shared by him PGA Tour Champions. “I’ve only been dead 11 times. I’m like Lazarus. I’m still returning from the dead.

“That was when I could play the game.”
He made the comment about his health about two months after he underwent emergency surgery in his hand. He shared a publication of his hospital bed in January, adding that surgery was a success and that “he would play again in a short time!”
He returned this month on time for the Hoag Classic in Champions Tour in California.
“It has been a bit brutal, but the hand is about 80%,” he said at that time in a video, Via ESPN. Daly revealed that she has undergone 16 surgeries in the last four years due to tangled tendons.

In a recent podcast appearance, Daly also opened about being diagnosed with bladder cancer.
“It was scary,” he said during an appearance in the “Like a farmer podcast.”
“I was urinating the blood, Pukin’s blood … I thought my back was killing me, and I didn’t know. And I went in Little Rock, I received a check and everything on my back and then, was it a neurologist? The doctor saw him and said: ‘You have to come back.’ ‘

He underwent surgery and has been in remission for four years.
Despite all his health setbacks, Daly had a positive message about life for his youngest self when he looked back in his rookie photo.
“Hey, great life.”
