- HP’s study states that workers are increasingly adopting AI
- AI is helping workers to save time by removing boring tasks
- Apparently he is also helping with the balance between work and life.
Some workers claim that AI tools are becoming increasingly useful not only to do their job, but also in improving their balance between work and life, said new research.
An HP survey found that almost three quarters (72%) of employees who use AI say they save them time every week, and one in ten states that they are saving more than five hours per week.
Almost a quarter (23%) also states that the use of AI has made their jobs more satisfactory, with workers capable of spending less time on boring repetitive tasks and focusing on what they really enjoy their work.
Ai in the workplace
The study also found that AI could help business owners with some of their most pressing problems.
One in three business leaders says that using AI has already delivered more than 11% in cost savings, and almost half says it helps reduce the time spent on administration tasks, and just over a third (34%) that has improved decision making and strategic planning.
The benefits are perhaps becoming clearer for companies, however, the survey added that many companies are still working on their AI strategy, and more than a room says that their business currently does not have a formal strategy of AI.
However, the appetite seems to be there, since almost half (44%) expects the AI to be completely embedded by 2027.
Little more than half (54%) of business leaders indicated that they would be more likely to adopt AI if it was integrated into devices such as AI PC, with employees in accordance, with 29%saying that they would use AI more if they were embedded in the tools that already use or do not require an internet connection (10%).
“The AI is no longer a ‘pleasant to have’, it is a commercial imperative,” said Neil Sawyer, HP managing director for northwest Europe.
“Companies that do not act now run the risk of being behind their competitors, losing productivity and losing efficiency profits that AI is already delivering. By embeding the AI directly in safe and family devices, organizations can overcome the challenges of trust and usability, and climb the adoption with confidence.”
