Microsoft is making changes in how the videoconference platform of its team deals with potentially malicious files in an attempt to reduce malware -based attacks, blocking messages that contain types of dangerous files such as executable.
In the future, Microsoft teams will also notice and warn users about malicious URLs in chats and channels, hoping to reduce malicious useful loads delivered to online sites.
The two updates have been revealed in the road map inputs (499892 and 499893) and are on their way to a September 2025 launch.
The teams are making changes to protect the users of attacks
Microsoft has been busy making important security updates for teams in recent years, after an increase in remote work after pandemic.
