- More characteristics of UI 8.5 have been leaked

The significant update of UI 8 (based on Android 16) continues to be implemented on older galaxy phones, but an IU 8.5 is already talking about, and the new leaks give us a better idea of three useful characteristics than the software update can bring with them.
As seen by @achour_hm (through Sammyguru), it seems that the updated camera application will bring multiple video presets to the interface. It means that you can change quickly between a box office and a thriller with a sliding on the screen.
Another feature has been discovered by @Laidbackdev_ (again through Sammyguru). In this case, there are text chains that refer to 3D, VR and spatial media within the application of the camera, which suggests more close functionality, perhaps the capture of photos and videos in 3D.
Space photos and videos can be captured by the last iPhones, but needs an Apple Vision Pro headset to be able to see them correctly. With Samsung AR/VR headphones in the pipe, perhaps this characteristics update is related.

Sammyguru’s team has found another possible characteristic of UI 8.5: it seems that the software will make the change between cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity more perfect and direct for users.
This will be done through two lever switches, an intelligent link evaluation and an intelligent network switch, which will take advantage of AI to decide if your phone must be connected to cellular networks or an available Wi-Fi network.
This may depend on factors such as the safety and speed of the Wi-Fi network, and whether or not it has connected a particular Wi-Fi network before. In theory, user experience should be improved, and less manual switching will be required.
All these characteristics are subject to the change of course, and it is not yet clear when an IU 8.5 could become official or begin to be implemented. You can either make an appearance in January, along with Samsung Galaxy S26 phones we hope.
