Pakistan now has access to the recently released “AI mode” of Google, which promises to offer users an advanced search engine with AI engine. The tool is a personalized version of Gemini 2.5, which allows users to pose longer and complex questions that would have required several separate searches.
Google, in a previous statement, had said that early tests indicate that searches are already two to three times longer than traditional searches, highlighting the value of the tool for exploratory activities such as product comparisons, travel planning or resolution of consultations of “how to do”. “It is deeply immersed to answer multiple questions at the same time, with useful links for additional exploration,” reads the statement.
AI mode is now available in Pakistan and can be grouped through the Google application in Android and iOS, also in the mobile and desktop versions of Google Search
According to Google, Pakistani users can use the AI tool for a multitude of things, such as “planning a trip” writing a message about a trip to a specific place and a specific time. The ai model would give suggestions to do with everything from places to the places to eat.
AI mode uses a “consultation fan-out” technique, which allows the tool to decompose the user’s question in subtapics and run multiple searches simultaneously.
The tool uses live information from the knowledge chart, product databases and web content to produce precise answers. On the occasion that the system shows little confidence in the answers, the predetermined system to the classic search results.
Google is confident that this tool will offer deeper, more intelligent and more complete results, but acknowledged that, as with any early age system, there is a margin of error.
