The rumors were true. The expected product launch event of Google Mage will be held on August 20 at 1 PM ET, and seems to be an event full of products.
It is the summer of fresh Android like Google, just a little more than a month after Samsung unpacked all its Android 16 folds, revealing a large number of new pixels devices, including new phones, new watches and, yes, new headphones.
Google sent invitations on Wednesday (yes, we obtained some) and invited the media to Brooklyn, NY, on August 20 for the program “A program in person made by Google” where we will present the latest additions to our portfolio of Pixel devices. “
This could be a very big year for Pixel alignment. We expect not only the Pixel 10 telephone line, but a new Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which now has a difficult act to continue given the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 7 of 4.2 mm thick, at least both will execute Android 16.
As for 10 phones pixels, a constant flow of rumors has painted a fairly clear image of these new phones. The phones will probably be kept near the most significant redesign of last year, but with refinements that can make the phones look more polished. Screen technology could suffer an update, and there are rumors that photography, especially macro photography, could also improve.
All phones are expected to run the Google Tensioner 5 chip. However, Google has not yet surpassed Apple or Qualcomm in the SOC race, maybe this year is different.
The alignment of the model must be kept close to what we had in 2024 and include pixel 10, pixel 10 pro, pixel 10 pro xl and pixel 10 pro fold. In the latter, an expected change is a much larger battery, 5,015 mAh, which would be considerably larger than what you get with the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
A new Watch Pixel Watch 4 is also expected, possibly redesigned, but we do not have many details beyond its size (41 mm and 45 mm) and the different band colors and options in which it could be available.
However, it is reasonable to assume that it will access Gemini Live directly on the next Pixel watch, since it can now do it with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8.
Pixels are more a mystery, although we can assume that they can be smaller and have more sensors for more intelligence on board.
By the way, there are no other tips on products, designs or surprises (such as Android XR glasses) in the invitation.
