- An early rumor of Google Pixel 11 has emerged
- There may be modern changes with the G6 tensioner
- We could see a change from Samsung to Mediatek
With the Google Pixel 10 series now in the world, the countdown has begun at the launch of Pixel 11 in 2026, and a new rumor suggests that there will be a remarkable update in terms of the phone processor.
According to Tipster Mystic leaks (through 9to5google), Google is testing a mediatek M90 modem with the G6 tensioner processor, the CPU due to the debut with Pixel 11, and a follow -up of the G5 tensioner in pixel 10.
That is significant because it would represent a switch away from Samsung’s modems in the tensioner chips, a switch that was in fact rumored for 2025 phones but never materialized. This year it could happen.
As for what you can see in terms of improvements, better 5G and satellite connectivity speeds have been promoted, as well as better energy efficiency, so Pixel 11 phones in theory would work fresher and faster than their predecessors.
Pixel 11 phones on the way
All this remains rumor and speculation for the moment, of course, and nothing is safe until Google makes it official. Pixel 11 leaks have been relatively thin on the ground so far, although these phones are unlikely to arrive before next August.
At this time, we still hope that the standard Pixel 11 will join the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro
We have seen the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone Air make their debut this year, so it is not beyond the field of the possibility that Google decides to introduce a super thin and light phone as part of its own range.
It will be interesting to find out, and see if the long -standing association between Google and Samsung in the tensioning chipset, which has been in force since the first pixel, will be even more disassembled in 2026.
