- Google has just announced the 9a pixel
- Its launch date has been retreated from March to April
- Google blamed a vagus “quality problem of the components”
If the Google Pixel 9A phone has been anxiously, we have some bad news: Google has had to briefly delay its launch to investigate a “quality problem of the components” that affects the device.
We communicated with Google to see what had happened and a company representative told us: “We are reviewing a quality problem of the components that affects a small number of Pixel 9A devices.” Apparently, the company did not enter more details than that, so it is not clear what exactly the problem caused by retention.
After announcing the device today, Google originally wanted to launch the 9A Pixel in March, however, that date has now passed to April. Interestingly, Google does not allow early orders on its website despite saying that the device will be available in the coming weeks.
With our first practice with Pixel 9A, we could only show the home screen and the device design, which is new. That, in addition to the fact that the device really appeared in the sale in some locations before it was officially announced today, it makes a slightly uncomfortable stage for Google.

Very filtered
The Pixel 9A is Google’s last medium range phone, and it is fair to say that it has probably been one of the most filtered phones in recent years. The leaks and revelations were so unbridled, in fact, that we knew more or less everything that had to know long before Google lifted the lid.
It is very unusual for Google to delay a product like this right in the last minute, and one might think that a severe problem like this would have previously been discovered in the tests. In addition, it is rare for Google hardware to be affected in this way, but obviously some things can go through the network.
Even so, it is better for Google to delay the launch of Pixel 9a than to launch it and discover the seriousness of its problem only when it reaches the public. Ultimately, a few weeks late will not mean much in the great scheme of things.
