- A visualization update has always been seen on Android
- Google has not yet officially announced adjustments
- I could put pixels along with Samsung and Apple phones
Yesterday, Google announced an important renewal of the design language used in Android and its applications, but it seems that there are also some changes in the blocking screen that Google did not mention specifically in its presentation.
Android Authority team saw some adjustments to the Always-on screen in one of the images shared by Google, and could finally update with Samsung Galaxy’s phones and iPhones in this particular department.
You will see that the Always-on screen shows an attenuated version of the screen background of the home screen, which is currently not an option on Pixel phones, while the Widget at-Glance has also changed to the right of the clock.
That leaked the widgets of the blockade screen actually last month, but this is more evidence that it is on its way. It seems likely that these changes can be applied to the blockade screen with the launch of Android 16 in June.

I use a pixel as my main phone, and the lack of customization options on the lock screen has been frustrating. This is a screen that users see a lot every day, of course, so a little more visual style with paper support will be very welcome.
As Android Authority points out, the option to see the wallpaper on the lock screen has been available in the past on Pixel phones, but it has not been offered from Google Pixel 4 onwards, perhaps to maximize the battery life.
Go today to the lock screen settings on a pixel phone, and you will get some useful options to limit the confidential content that appears in notifications and change the direct access buttons shown while the phone is blocked.
However, it does not get the same level of control as Samsung and Apple give it, with options to show the wallpaper, establish a different backdrop on the starting screens and choose which widgets are shown when the phone is blocked.
