Google Messages has received a good amount of updates recently, and a new one has just arrived: full -screen effects animations for RCS chats can now be activated by certain emojis, as well as specific phrases within the application.
Those are the animations that appear every time you write a specific phrase, such as “congratulations” or “happy new year”, and as seen by Android Authority, you can now enable them with messages that contain two matching emojis.
The characteristic was originally announced in 2023, but Google has never given a complete list of activation phrases; The idea is to try to discover them by chance. Reddit detectives have identified almost 20 that work.
