- A new ‘subscription an ape button in Google messages has been detected
- This gives an easy way to unsubscribe from automated messages.
- You can also use it to inform spam
If you are flooded with unwanted messages from companies or other spam, then a new Google message tool could be useful.
Android Authority has seen that a new option has begun to appear at the bottom of some messages, saying “to stop receiving messages.” Touch this, and you will be presented options that ask why you want to unsubscribe, with the options “are not registered”, “too many messages”, “no longer interested”, “spam” or “other”.
If you select any of the first three, the message “Stop” will be sent automatically, while if you select “Other”, there is a picture where you can complete more details before sending the message “Stop”, and if you select “SPAM”, you will also have the option to inform the sender.
Once you have completed the subscription cancellation process, the text “Request for subscription cancellation” will appear below the “Stop” message, and a “Start” button will be visible in the lower right part, which you can use to suggest again to the automated texts of that sender.
Simply send ‘stop’
Therefore, it is a fairly complete system, although most of the time all it really does is send the word “stop”, it is not necessarily faster than writing that yourself. However, the main point seems to facilitate that people report when they do not realize that they can do it.
This characteristic is in the process of implementing, so if it does not yet have it, it is attentive, because it will probably do so soon, although it is currently only implementing users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Mexico and Spain.
Also keep in mind that this feature only works with Google messages, so if you are using a different messaging application, you will have to keep the subscription in the past fashion.
