- Google pixel software update solves some high -level safety defects
- It is now being displayed for eligible phones and pixels tablets
- The update also fixes a fault with the ‘back button’
If you have a Google Pixel phone, be sure to have downloaded the last security patch, since it includes several important updates that solve some potentially critical problems with your smartphone that you may not take into account.
There are some high -level safety failures that solve the patch, as well as a vulnerability to the “critical” system. According to Google, this defect can be executed remotely (in combination with other errors), and what is more, can be activated without any user interaction.
Oh.
Google did not go into details about the trick beyond these details, but it does not sound like one that would like to leave without addressing.
Beyond safety improvements, Google has also resolved a back button error, which sometimes does not work for users.

As you can see in the video above, users would slide on their Android 16 pixel phone and nothing would happen, which is not ideal if you want to get out of an application or conveniently return to a different screen.
You may have taken about two months, but after Beta users obtained the solution in July, the failure of the back button must now be resolved in all the devices that run the stable version of Android 16 on their phone.
Are you ready to update?
If you want to update your pixel device, the patch is now being implemented in all pixel tablets and phones released from Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Those two phones were launched in 2021.
With enabled automatic updates, you may have already updated. However, to find it manually, you can go to its configuration application, then search for the system update and press the Verify updates button to see if it is updated in its software.
If you have the August patch, then you are ready, although you can take up to a week so that the updates are available to all, so if you are still in the July update and do not see any option to install August, do not worry, you will only have to wait a little longer for a solution.
