LAHORE:
The SUI Northern Gasipepelines Limited (SNGPL) has issued reminders notices to several federal and provincial departments and institutions for the payment of pending quotas that amount to more than RS3.72 billion.
The company has urged all government entities to solve their fees immediately to avoid more measures. Final warnings had already been sent to these delinquent in April 2025.
According to the notices, government hospitals owe a total of RS1,4125 billion to the company. The hospitals of the Federal Capital must the SNGPL RS183.62 million, the hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), RS106.08 million and the hospital in Punjab must pay RS1.12 million to the company.
The police departments in the Federal Capital and the two provinces in which the company operates, Punjab and the KP, owe it RS499.7 million with RS141.5 million to pay the Islamabad police, RS63.13 million to pay the KP and RS295.04 million police for the Punjab police to pay.
It is also assumed that the jail in KP and Punjab will pay RS607 million to the company with RS38.6 million to pay prisons in the KP and RS569 million to pay prisons in Punjab.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) must also the SNGPL RS251.2 million. Public Works Departments (PWD) must RS141.6 million with RS118.46 million at the federal level; RS5,028 million in KP and RS18.114 million in Punjab.
Educational institutions must also pay the gas company a total of RS115.28 million with federal institutions that owe it RS65.58 million; The KP, RS17.14 million and Punjab, RS32.554 million.
According to the notices, the Commander Police Training University in Sihala, owes it RS146.37 million; Lahore General Hospital, RS97.74 million; Executive Engineer of Punjab House, RS89.21 million; The Mayo de Lahore Hospital, RS85.7 million and Pims, 61.4 million.
