LAHORE:

The Punjab government has imposed the prohibition of the installation of temporary mechanical changes throughout the province, citing public security concerns.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Origin of Punjab, the decision aims to prevent accidents and protect lives, since great crowds are expected to, including children, visit recreational places during the holidays. The prohibition will apply throughout the province, and the attached commissioners have been ordered to guarantee compliance. However, mechanical changes will be allowed permanently operating, provided they obtain a valid physical conditioning certificate.

The authorities have ordered that all permanent fun trips undergo security inspections and comply with regulatory standards. The attached commissioners will be responsible for verifying compliance before issuing operational permits.

In addition, the Punjab Interior Department has established a central control room to monitor security and enforce government directives during the EID.

The control room will operate 24 hours a day, coordinating with the district administrations to maintain the law and order. The senior officials will remain on service during the holidays to supervise the security measures.
