The Federal Minister of Health, Mustafa Kamal, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to intensify the eradication efforts of polyomyelitis to guarantee a polio free Pakistan in the near future.
The minister was presiding over a review meeting on polyomyelitis eradication.
During the meeting, an exhaustive review of the recent national polyomyelitis vaccination campaign was presented. The meeting was informed that more than 45 million children successfully received the falls of the polyomyelitis vaccine.
The national and provincial coordinators shared detailed updates on the eradication efforts of current polyomyelitis, highlighting progress and obstacles.
