Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered the Government to enter a Ramazan help package without involving public service stores, with the aim of curbing corruption and avoiding the sale of lower quality goods.

When heading to a federal cabinet meeting, the prime minister emphasized the need for a transparent and effective relief mechanism for Ramadan, stating that the package of the previous year faced numerous complaints due to poor management in public service stores.

“He had declared the current system with public service stores months ago is unsustainable. The last Ramadan, there were excessive complaints regarding public service stores, so we have decided to introduce a package without them,” he said.

During the meeting, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his satisfaction with the inflation rate in Declive, noting that it fell from 28.73% in January 2024 to 4.1% in December 2024.

“The gradual decrease in inflation is a positive development. Our approach is now in economic growth, and all relevant ministries must concentrate on this objective,” he said.

The prime minister stressed that achieving sustained economic growth remains a key challenge and emphasized the need for coordinated efforts between ministries to boost economic stability.

Shehbaz Sharif also announced that Saudi Arabia approved a one -year deferred oil payment installation worth $ 1.2 billion.

He pointed out that the previous deferred payment agreement ended in December 2023, but a Saudi delegation visited Pakistan in the direction of the heir prince Mohammed Bin Salman to finish the extension.

“This installation will provide Pakistan with a very necessary financial relief while we work to stabilize the economy,” he said.

He offered sentences for murdered security personnel and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicate polyomyelitis despite security challenges.
