LAHORE:
The federal government has decided that new national consumers of gas in LaHore will be provided through regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG), sources from the Ministry of Petroleum said on Saturday.
According to officials, the RLNG price is linked to international rates of crude oil, which makes it 2.5 to 3 percent more expensive than natural gas.
New connections in phases will be emitted. Priority will be given to applicants who have already deposited the demand notices, followed by those who paid urgent rates. Applicants who have only sent requests will be accommodated in the third phase.
