“You’ve had tons of celebrities on your show. You made a very bold statement about Taylor Swift,” the 57-year-old said.

His comment was a reference to Graham’s description of the Grammy winner in Kylie and Jackie O. radio show as a “person so close to normal” that he could “change the country’s economy just by showing up.”

“[It was] “It’s something very nice,” he commented. Sherri responded, “Something very nice.” It was really nice,” and I asked, “I thought, are you an undercover Swiftie?”

“Oh, I’m not covert, I’m an open Swiftie. I love her,” the 61-year-old responded. “The extraordinary thing about Taylor Swift is that this is a woman who could change a country’s economy just by showing up. And yet she seems so grounded, so normal. It’s fascinating.”

“I went to Dublin and everything was organized through my show and the Taylor people,” he recalled. “So they ushered me in and I realized we were headed to the VIP tent.”

“You know, the one on the ground. So we’re in Ireland, and I’m thinking, ‘Who else will be in the VIP tent? Will Bono be there? The prime minister?’

“We got there. It was just me,” said the Irish comedian. “No one else!” and added: “Me and a full bar, thanks Taylor!”

“It wasn’t crowded when I left,” he continued. “And Taylor offers good drinks.”

“I was alone, literally. I was alone in a tent for four hours. But I saw a lot of Taylor Swift in the distance. And I drank her bar dry.”

“It was a very good night,” Graham concluded. “I’m not complaining in any way.”
