Islamabad:
As PTI double efforts to gather more heavy political weights in their great alliance, opposition parties decided to expand the anti -government coalition on Friday by opening new communication channels and celebrating key meetings.
In the midst of the speculation that the maneuver behind the scene was underway to bring the chief Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman to the fold, the JUI-F also seemed to weigh his options to join the alliance against the common political rival.
The development occurred weeks after a PTI delegation, directed by the opposition leader, Omar Ayub Khan, sat down with Fazl, who had previously decided to go alone against the government.
While the two parties chewed the political landscape of the country, PTI leaders had extended an olive branch, urging Mulana to join the great opposition alliance.
Meanwhile, following the meeting, the rumor had been in excess with statements that the cleric -Political had established three conditions for his support, says the party has now demolished.
The opposition leadership is now ready to make a stop in Sindh, with the leadership of Tehreek-E-Tahaffuz-E-Aen Pakistan (TTAP) preparing for a three-day crucial visit. A series of high -risk meetings to strengthen the alliance have been scheduled.
The delegation will be involved with the leadership of the Great Alliance, while the leader of the opposition of Sindh, Ayaz Latif Palijo, will hold conversations with officials in Hyderabad.
The delegation includes key figures, including the head of TTAP, Mahmood Achakzai, Asad Qaiser, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, leaders of BNP-Mengal and MWM, along with PTI General, General Salman Akram Raja.
During the visit, the alliance will also play the base with the business community, the Association of Lawyers, PTI officials in Karachi and journalists aligned by the opposition, further expanding their network.
Meanwhile, TTAP spokesman, Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, rejected speculation regarding the alleged conditions of the JUI-F, Mauula Fazlur Rehman, to join the opposition block. “Maulana Fazlur Rehman has not presented previous conditions to assume the leadership of the opposition alliance,” he clarified.
“The government knows that the great opposition alliance will be formed in the next few days,” he added.
He also said that the electronic media “spread false news regarding Mauula Fazlur Rehman”, and emphasized that the statements that he has established three conditions to join TTAP had no foundation.
“Maulana Fazlur Rehman did not demand the leadership of the opposition alliance, nor did he ask for a participation in the KP government,” he added.
Similarly, at a press conference in Islamabad, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, who recently joined the anti -government alliance, went to the media.
“Our consultations with opposition parties are ongoing. The people of the country want a solution to the current situation,” said Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Achakzai announced that the Alliance has decided to convene a national conference to solve the country’s problems.
“We want to play a role in resolving national problems. We invite everyone to this conference, which will take place for two days on February 26 and 27, during which national problems will be discussed.”
In a statement, a Jui-F spokesman Aslam Ghauri said that “some circles are upset” for the news of Jui-F joining the opposition alliance. “Those who are annoying are those who spread news without foundation.”
“Even without a leadership position, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is playing an important role in the opposition alliance,” said the spokesman, adding that Fazl’s leadership now did not depend on any position, and its inclusion would only strengthen the opposition.
“We are gradually moving towards the formation of a great alliance,” he said, noting that such statements were helping to reduce differences between opposition parties.
“After his speech in Parliament, a campaign to defame Maulana Fazlur Rehman is underway. The Na knows where these fractional sparrows come from,” he added.
