The cold weather has pressed its control over Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa with several districts receiving rain, and some higher regions record up to 17 inches of snowfall.
The temperature continued to fall, which makes the conditions more hard for residents.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the rain and snowfall are expected to persist in the districts of Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Khyber and Kurram.
Most of the parts of the province remained cold and partially cloudy.
The rain was recorded in Chitral, Kohistan, Bajaur, Dir and Swat, while the snowfall covered the mountainous areas of Chitral and Swat.
The heaviest snowfall was reported in Kalam, where 17 inches were recorded. Malam Jabba received two inches, while Chitral recorded an inch. The lowest temperatures were also observed in these areas, with parachute at -4 ° C, malam jabba a -2 ° C and Kalam A -1 ° C.
With more rain and snowfall in the next few days, the authorities have advised residents in the affected areas that take the necessary precautions.
In addition, Punjab will experience a dry and sunny climate for the next three days, without rain in the forecast, according to the Department of Meteorology.

Murree will be the coldest location, with temperatures falling at -2 ° C at night. The humidity level at the hill station is 57%. Meanwhile, the main urban centers, including Lahore, Faisalabad and fine, will see minimum temperatures between 8 ° C and 11 ° C.
In southern Punjab, Bahawalpur will have the highest humidity at 94%, with temperatures ranging between 8 ° C and 11 ° C. Dera Ghazi Khan and fine will experience similar conditions, with maximum daytime diurnal

The MET office has predicted clear skies for all the main cities, without waiting for significant changes in climatic patterns until Friday. Residents can expect continuous dry conditions with fresh mornings and sunny afternoons.
