
Greg Gutfeld is reportedly trying to take advantage of Jimmy Kimmel’s temporary suspension.
For those who don’t know, ABC, a broadcast network owned by The Walt Disney Company, banned Jimmy’s show. Jimmy Kimmel live! for a week after he made controversial comments about the murder of political activist Charlie Kirk.
When the ban on the show was lifted, many ABC stations refused to air it at first, but later gave it the green light.
Greg, the Fox News host Gutfeldis closely monitoring the situation and plans to capitalize on the rapidly changing landscape of late-night entertainment.
The source told the outlet: “Greg has been using the rightward shift in the nation’s political leanings to his advantage. He also knows that traditional late-night shows are dying and that ratings are declining for all of his competitors.”
“In his view, his politics make him the topic of the moment, and he intends to use that to line his pockets,” the source added.
Throughout the entire situation, Greg supported ABC’s decision to suspend Jimmy by saying, “I hate to break it to you, buddy, but the guy who shot and killed Charlie Kirk was probably a fan of yours.”
It should be noted that the 61-year-old American television presenter’s comment has made the fight between the two even worse.
The source stated, “Greg, being Greg, is trying to use this situation to his advantage. He really thinks Kimmel’s fall is a great opportunity for him!”
“He brags about how good he is compared to the other presenters. He really believes his own hype. He walks around feeling very smug and important and looking to cash in,” the source said.
