“How can we not morally punish someone who exploits a position like this and chooses to maintain influence at the expense of everyone’s mental health? How do you think girls feel reading things like this about another woman?” she adds.
The speech, Grimes concludes, is “unhealthy as shit, not just for Selena or the writer, but for everyone who watches this and engages with this level of dehumanization.”
