ISLAMABAD:
The federal government has formally declared Gwadar airport as an international airport.
Following the development, international flights will fly and land at the airport. In addition, the airport will also be used for cargo transportation.
In this regard, FBR has issued two notifications. As per the first notification issued under section (9), Gwadar Airport is declared an international airport, while the second notification issued under section (10) legally allows passengers to take incoming and outgoing international flights in the Gwadar International Airport.
