Hafizabad:
A key suspect in a case of group violation was killed in an alleged police meeting near Jorian in the Mangat Uncha area, while three of his accomplices managed to flee, according to officials of the Crime Control Department (CCD).
The CCD declared that the operation was carried out based on intelligence reports on the presence of suspects linked to a recent group violation incident.
During the raid, the suspects opened fire against the agents of the law from the inside of a building.
The police took reprisals in self -defense, and during the exchange of shots, a suspect, identified as Khawar, received a fatally shot, relieved by bullets shot by their own accomplices during crossfire.
The remaining three suspects escaped and are currently being sought in an ongoing hunt.
Police sources revealed that Khawar, along with their associates Ikraam Mangat, Laeeq and Chand, allegedly kidnapped a husband and a wife at a gunpoint and subjected them to sexual aggression. According to reports, the suspects forced the couple to participate in sex while filming the incident.
The video was shared later online, which caused generalized outrage.
The incident caused a rapid action of the district police officer (DPO) Atif Nazir, who ordered immediate investigation and an offensive against the accused.
The authorities confirmed that efforts are being made to stop the remaining suspects and that more legal procedures will continue.
Earlier on Wednesday, the female plaintiff in a case of group violation that took place in Mangat Uncha on April 25, registered her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the civil judge and the Magistrate of Area Ali Naqi Tipu, which details the events that involve abduction and assault.
More than a month after the group of rape in group and forced sexual abuse, the Police recorded a first information report (FIR) on June 3.
The incident involved three armed men who allegedly violated a woman in front of her husband at a gunpoint, while one of the suspects recorded the video assault. The case gained renewed urgency after explicit images appeared on social networks.
