Halle Berry expressed his frustration as the only black woman who has crowned with an academy prize for an actress in the main role.
During his recent appearance at Comedian Trevor Noah’s What now? Podcast, the Hollywood star shared how it feels to be a black woman.
“Having born a black woman, I feel that I have always felt that I sat at the bottom of society,” he told the host.
“White man, black man, white woman, black woman. So I’ve always felt in the back That was not worthy or capable because I was in the background.
“I hope this year someone be by my side,” the 58 -year -old actress shared her desire. “This year, I hope it happens because I am tired of occupying that space only.”
