The former star of the MLB, David Justice, tried to move from the revival War of words between him and his ex -wife Halle Berry on Friday night while he was on the red carpet for an event.
Justice and his current wife Rebecca Villalobos appeared at the celebrities of the 25th anniversary of the Harold and Carole Pump Foundation in Los Angeles. He was asked about the initial comments he made about wanting Berry to be “maternal” when the two married for the first time.

“This is what I have to say: this is my wife for 25 years. I look at my wife. You can cook, she knows how to clean, she knows how to raise a big family,” Justice told Access Hollywood when asked if he wanted to clarify something. “We have three beautiful children and a beautiful grandfather.
“So, I have nothing more to say about anyone’s lady but my lady … point.”
Justice recalled his relationship with Berry in an interview about the “All The Smoke” podcast. The two married in 1993 and officially divorced in 1997. The World Series champion commented on what he led to his separation with the actress.
“Because I was young and I had only been honestly, in a relationship before her, my knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships was not vast,” he said.
“So, I am looking at my mother and I am a boy in the west. So, in my mind, I am thinking that a wife at that time should cook, clean. Then I am thinking: ‘Ok, if we have children, is this the woman with whom I want to have children and build a family?'”

In the mid -1990s, Berry had a contract with Revlon and had been in films such as “Boomerang”, “Jungle Fever” and “The Last Boy Scout”.
“At that time, when I was young, she doesn’t cook, I don’t clean, she doesn’t really seem maternal, and then we start having problems,” Justice added. “I will say this, we never had any problem about any woman, other men.”
Berry subtly responded in an Instagram post.
“UF … !! Kitchen, cleaning and maternity,” he wrote in the title of a photo with his current husband Van Hunt.
Justice obtained his first star assent in 1993, after his marriage. It was an All-Star again in 1994 before the players went on strike. He joined the Cleveland Indians in 1997 and was then changed to the Yankees in 2000.

He also said that he and Berry “could probably have done it” if they went to therapy.
