London: The acclaimed actress Hania Aamir received the star prize of Pakistan in the Jubilee room of the United Kingdom Parliament, presented by the deputy of Afzal Khan and other dignitaries.
The event aimed to recognize and celebrate the success of Aamir as an international artist, his remarkable trip, star performances and contributions to the entertainment industry.
Organized by the Labor Deputy Afzal, the ceremony attended Dr. Sarah Naseem, wife of the UK High Commissioner of the United Kingdom, along with several prominent figures of the community and the British Pakistani media. AFZAL praised Aamir, describing it as an important force in the arts and culture sector, deserving of appreciation both for its talent and humility.
After receiving the prize, Aamir expressed his gratitude, saying: “It is an absolute honor to be here. We should continue to proud Pakistan and use our platforms to highlight our country positively. We must continue to be a strong and united community.”
When asked about his work in Bollywood and his collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh, Aamir remained with tight lips about his current filming commitments in the United Kingdom.
However, he talked about the positivity wave caused last year when Dosanjh invited her to the stage during her London concert.
“That moment created a lot of positivity. Art is art, and whatever differences, political or other, should not intervene between humanity and the arts,” he said.
Maria Soraya introduced Aamir as an artist who has broken international borders and has been a positive force. He described Aamir as a cultural ambassador and youth icon, saying: “Hania Aamir has revolutionized performance and fashion. He deserves recognition of the way he leads herself.”
Aamir commented jokingly that he had spent so much time in the United Kingdom that he could consider moving to London. However, he confirmed that he would soon return to Pakistan for Eid to celebrate with his family and friends.
Beyond the performance, Aamir has made a name in the fashion and brand collaboration industry. She is the safest Pakistani celebrity on Instagram and enjoys an important base of Indian fans.
In October last year, he attended the Dosanjh concert in London, where he invited her to the stage and gave her a serenade with her successful song lover.
