Harrison Ford is becoming sincere about the key to your durable marriage with Flockhart Calista.
He Indiana Jones Star, who celebrated 15 years of marriage with Calista in June, shared his thoughts during a recent appearance at NPR’s Wildcard With Rachel Martin.
“Older people can also love,” joked the 82 -year -old actor with the host. “You know, you think about falling in love and in all that business.”
“You think it is the youth business or something, you know, and stay in love is the problem. Keep, basically nourish yourself,” Ford continued.
He Contraction Star added that while relationships require effort, he adopts a cheerful approach. “With some days off for bad behavior,” he joked.
The 60 -year -old actor and Flockhart met for the first time in the Golden Globe Awards in 2002 and began to leave shortly after. Later, Ford proposed on the weekend of Valentine’s Day, and the couple married in New Mexico in 2010.
Looking back in his past, Ford admitted that he first married too young. “I was married at 23, which should be illegal,” he said. He was previously married to Mary Marquardt from 1964 to 1979, and then with screenwriter Melissa Mathison from 1983 until his divorce in 2004.
The 1923 star is also the father of the children Benjamin, 58, and Willard, 56, whom he shares with Marquardt, along with his son Malcolm, 37, and his daughter Georgia, 35, whom he welcomed with Mathison.
He started dating Flockhart after gathering at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002. The following year, Ford declared: “I’m in love”, in an interview with Hello! magazine.
Ford then adopted the son of Flockhart, Liam, whom he welcomed through adoption in 2001, while the couple married in 2010.
