Harry Styles reflects on One Direction’s heartbreak: ‘very lonely’

Harry Styles has opened up about what it was like to leave years of being in a band behind and the “sudden” loneliness that took hold after their breakup.

The singer-songwriter recently participated in a conversation with his well-known friend and stylist Harry Lambert, where he discussed his post-One Direction days as an artist.

“When you’re in a band with four other people, there’s a lot of room to hide,” he told his friend in an interview published by Sunday weather on February 14.

“There is a lot of weight on your shoulders. The first times on stage [without One Direction]I thought: ‘What do I do with my hands?’”

“But I also suddenly felt very alone,” he said. as it was The vocalist continued. “I was lucky to have the opportunity to get people interested in what I was going to do, but I put a lot of pressure on myself, wanting it to be right.”

Harry Styles is currently preparing for the release of his fourth studio album, Kiss all the time. Disco, Occasionallywhich comes out on March 6.

The British pop star will tour again this year, with a global residency starting in May and scheduled until December 2026.
