The income and customs of the United Kingdom (HMRC) officially concluded the bankruptcy procedures of Hasan Nawaz Sharif, son of the president of PML-N and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said Express News.

According to government records, Hasan Nawaz’s bankruptcy was high on April 29, 2025, which makes it legally eligible to resume commercial activities and serve as the company’s director.

Banking, which arose from a fiscal dispute of £ 10 million, lasted a year and was part of a civil case.

HMRC confirmed that Hasan Nawaz had not participated in any illegal activity and that he fulfilled all legal obligations throughout the process.

Two months before, Hasan had declared voluntary bankruptcy after HMRC re-issued a tax demand for the 2015-2016 period, which challenged as a timbre.

He argued that he had already paid applicable taxes and that the renewed claim was not justified.

The United Kingdom government documents claim that there were no signs of non -compliance, obstruction or misconduct during procedures.

With the conclusion of the case, all commercial restrictions in Hasan Nawaz have risen, and there are no criminal or civil positions.

The British Gazette had previously listed Hasan’s bankruptcy details, but the authorities have now closed the matter, stating that there were no findings of corruption or poor management.

The case, the authorities pointed out, was managed within the legal limits and is not related to their ability to do business in the United Kingdom in the future.
