The senior minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, provided on Wednesday an update on the health of President Asif Ali Zardari, confirming that his condition is improving.
In a publication about X, Sharjeel Mem addressed the rumors that suggested the president’s transfer to Dubai, stating that these reports were inaccurate and assured the public that President Zardari will recover soon.
The president had been transferred from Nawabshah to a private hospital in Karachi, where he underwent medical tests. According to hospital sources, Zardari was admitted due to an infection and fever.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also contacted the president to ask about his health and expressed good wishes.
“The prayers of the whole nation are with you. That Allah grants you a quick and complete recovery,” PM said.
In addition, the governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, communicated with Dr. Asi Asi, doctor from President Zardari, for an update on his condition and extended his best wishes to the president’s health.
