Healthy pml-n says aq khan ‘is not a hero’

The prime minister’s political affairs advisor, Rana Sanaullah, has caused a controversy by refusing to recognize the Pakistan nuclear scientist, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan as a “hero.”

Speaking to a private news channel on Saturday, Saraullah said Dr. Khan cannot be called a hero.

“A hero is the one who performed the nuclear tests [former prime minister Nawaz Sharif] and made Pakistan a nuclear energy. The process was initiated by former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, “he said.

He said that Dr. Khan deserves credit for his role as a scientist, and that he is granted credit, but “he is not a leader.”

“Many countries have built nuclear bombs, but few have performed nuclear tests. Here, people for jealousy and malice claim that Nawaz Sharif did not want to perform the tests.

“But let me remember you, Nawaz Sharif was the prime minister at that time, and he was the one who ordered nuclear tests,” he added.

The superior politician added that the position of the establishment is clear and that the field marshal also has a clear and reflective position that political negotiations should take place among political parties. “It is not an obstacle to conversations [with PTI founder Imran Khan]. In fact, I would welcome you, “he said.

The advisor said that instead of looking for dialogue with the establishment, Imran Khan should send a message for conversations with the head of PML-N, Nawaz Sharif, and the co-chair of the PPP, Asif Ali Zardari.

“Imran Khan blames us for everything, and at the same time he affirms that we have no authority. The authority falls to the government, and the former prime minister will have to talk to the government,” he said.

Sanaullah commented that Imran Khan’s political philosophy is to return to power with the support of the establishment and then begin to issue threats to other politicians. “Due to this political philosophy, Imran Khan has moved away from success,” he said.
