As of today, due to atmospheric pressure, the rural districts of Sindh, including Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jacobabad, Larkana, Badin, Tharparkar, UMRKOT and Hyderabad, can experience temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees higher than the seasonal average.
The heat wave is expected to persist until April 18. In Karachi, strong winds are expected to blow on Sunday and Monday, with the temperature of today reaching a maximum of 38.9 ° C, and humidity levels at 42%. Due to the high humidity, the heat index has made the conditions feel like 42 ° C. in the Rural Sindh, the temperatures in the airports of Dadu and Hyderabad were recorded at 43 ° C.
Residents have been advised in the affected areas that avoid unnecessary trips and take the necessary precautions to stay safe during this extreme climate.
