Police arrested a man and his wife suspected of being responsible for the alleged torture that led to the death of the girl in the Gulan-E-Iqbal area of the city.
According to the Irfan Samo district police officer, the victim, resident of Kotla Pathan, worked as a domestic assistant at the residence of a man named Shahram for three years.
Distinguished details have emerged about the death of Samia, and the authorities indicate that she succumbed to the violence inflicted by her employers.
In an attempt to hide the crime, Samia’s mother was informed of her daughter’s “sudden death” and gave his body wrapped in a mortar at night.
Upon returning home, the mother discovered severe signs of torture in Samia’s body and quickly alerted the police, which led to a rapid investigation into the matter.
Dpo Samo confirmed that the police carried out a timely raid, which apprehended the couple suspected that he had tried to flee.
Since then, the girl’s body has been handed over to her family after a post mortem exam. Initial medical findings revealed evidence of severe violence inflicted the girl throughout her body, further solidifying torture accusations.
