Pakistan security forces killed two terrorists, including a high value objective, during an intelligence -based operation in the Lower Dir Timergara area, public relations between services (ISPR) said on Friday in a statement.
The deceased included Alias de Hafizullah “Kochwan”, a key terrorist linked to multiple attacks against security personnel and civilians, added the ISPR statement. The operation took place during the night between April 10 and 11.
The forces launched the strike after confirming the presence of the terrorists in the area.
There was a fierce fire exchange, during which the two terrorists were killed and their hiding place, the authorities said.
Hafizullah was one of the most wanted figures by the police and led a generosity of RS 10 million. The Army said it played a central role in the orchestration of terrorist activities throughout the region.
An authorization operation remains in the midst of concerns of more terrorists in the area, said ISPR. The Pakistani army reiterated its resolution to eliminate terrorism throughout the country.
Earlier this week, the security forces killed nine militants in an intelligence -based operation in the Takwara area of Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday night.
According to the ISPR, among those killed there were several terrorists, including Shireen, an objective objective of high value and a militant ring leader, which was sought for its participation in multiple terrorist attacks.
Shireen had also been involved in the target murder of civilians and was responsible for the martyrdom of Captain Hasnain Akhtar.
The army said the troops launched the raid based on confirmed intelligence with respect to the presence of militants in the area. A fierce fire exchange followed, in which the militants were “sent to hell,” the statement added.
