QUETTA:
Armed men kidnapped the Tump Hanif Noorzai commissioner on Wednesday morning, near Tigranabad, while traveling with his family to Quetta, according to local sources.
The eye witnesses said that between six and eight armed people they stopped their official vehicle, took him to the gun and fled with the car. His wife, driver and official armed man stayed in the place and remained unharmed.
After the incident, the security forces launched a large -scale search operation in the area. Instant verification has begun along Zubaida Jalal Road and nearby routes, while intelligence -based efforts are being used to track kidnappers.
The kidnapping of a senior government official has raised concerns about the safety of public officials in Baluchistan, particularly in the Makran region.
The authorities have not yet identified those responsible, and no group has assumed responsibility from now on.
The efforts to locate and recover the Noorzai Security Assistant Commissioner are ongoing.
