The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Hina Arshad Warraich has assured a decisive victory in the partial elections of Sialkot Sialkot PP-52, winning 78,419 votes, Pakistan radio reported.
His closest rival, Fakhir Nishat Ghumman, was significantly behind with 40,037 votes, according to unofficial results of the 185 electoral centrals. PTI has denounced the alleged rig.
Congratulations to Hina Arshad Warraich. I hope she carries her father’s legacy and that the legacy is helping the people of the constituency.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab prime minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, congratulated Warraich for their success, describing victory as a clear reflection of public confidence in government policies.
Both leaders expressed their gratitude to the electorate for showing overwhelming support for the ruling party.
The partial election, which was closely monitored, further strengthens the PML-N position in the Punjab assembly, with analysts pointing out the magnitude of Warraich’s victory as an important political victory for the party.
Previously, he led with 78,702 votes in the partial elections of Sialkot PP-52, according to unofficial and incomplete results of 165 of 185 electoral stations received in the last hours of Sunday.
Hina was presented as the candidate of the ruling party in the partial elections announced after the death of the MPA Chaudhry Arshad Warraich, who had won the seat in the general elections of February 8 in the PML-N ticket.
Hina had a clear advantage over the candidates of other parties, including the independent candidate backed by PTI Fakhir Nishat Ghumman, who obtained 39,018 votes, according to the unofficial count.
Speaking to a private television channel, Hina said people did not choose it for politics but for service. “I stay here today due to Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz,” he said.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, which also belongs to Sialkot, visited the residence of Hina Warraich.
Going to the party workers, he thanked those who participated in the electoral campaign in Punjab, and added that, according to the results of 165 electoral centers, Hina is ensuring a decisive victory. “Sialkot was, is, and will continue to be a strength of the PML-N,” he said.
However, the central secretary of information from PTI, Sheikh Waqas Akram, during a press conference in Islamabad, claimed that the partial election in the PP-52 sambrial was witnessing “thug under the sponsorship of the police.”
“The participation in our manifestation in Samboles was unforgettable. People left early in the morning to protect the mandate, but the thugs of the PML-N resorted to violence,” he said.
He claimed that, under police protection, PTI supporters were withdrawn by force from voting stations and under violence. “PML-N by force entered the electoral colleges and cast false votes,” he said.
The president of PPP Central Punjab, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, also accused the PML-N of resorting to the appearance at a press conference held in Sambrial.
“The Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP) must take into account the rig in the partial elections of PP-52. Our agents and survey workers were attacked in Roliya, Mecor, Mitranwali and Babundoki Chamiyan.
“The local leadership of PML-N should not have resorted to such actions that this undermines the credibility of the entire electoral process,” he added. The elections must be free and fair. Our people were harassed and forced to get out of voters. “
The general secretary of PPP, Syed Hassan Murtaza, also said that the PML-N cannot dispute the elections “without putting next to the referees.” The 2024 elections, he said, witnessed the worst rig of history. “
After the press conference, the ECP issued a statement that describes the accusations of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf of Azejo in PP-52 Sialkot as without foundation. He advised PPP leaders to file a formal complaint with solid evidence.
“The ECP will address all complaints immediately,” he said, adding that the administration reports that several electoral centers are completely false.
