- Nintendo has warned fans that Switch 2 early orders may not arrive on the release day
- The company has said that due to the delivery of “very high demand” on June 5 “it is not guaranteed”
- It is not clear if this applies only to the early orders made in my Nintendo store or other retailers
Nintendo has announced that fans may not receive their anticipated Switch 2 order on the release day.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be launched on June 5, 2025, and if it has been lucky enough to ensure an anticipated order from the United Kingdom or an anticipated order from the United States, then there are less than two months left.
However, Nintendo now warns buyers that the delivery of the Switch 2 on June 5 “is not guaranteed”, although it is not clear if this applies to the early orders made through my Nintendo store or everywhere.
The updated information on the official website of how to buy now says: “Thanks to those of you who have already registered your interest in buying in my Nintendo store. We are excited by the enthusiasm for Nintendo Switch 2! Due to the very high demand, we will work diligently to meet orders as the product is available, but delivery before June 5 is not guaranteed.
“Your invitation email can arrive after the launch of Nintendo Switch 2. We will confirm your shipping date after the purchase.”
Nintendo has also encouraged fans to buy participating retail partners, such as Gamestop, if they want to “increase their opportunity to obtain a Nintendo Switch 2 system in the launch.”
It is also observed that no more measures are required after registering interest in a Switch 2 and that customers must continue waiting for their invitation from my Nintendo store.
Nintendo Switch 2 costs $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 or $ 499.99 / £ 429.99 for Mario de Mario Kart Bundle, which comes with a digital copy of the game.
