HMP recovers excessive RS4.7m rates


Rawalpindi:

The National Roads and Self -Disposit Police (NHMP) recovered RS4.7 million public transport operators to overload passengers during Eidul Fitr and imposed an additional 23.3 million in overload fines, authorities said Sunday.

The avalanche of passengers is an occurrence of routine during the EID, since travelers who work outside the home return to their villages and villages in large quantities. However, complaints of excessive rate charges by public transport operators also arise during this period.

A NHMP official declared that repression against overload and overload continued throughout Pakistan.
